Business documents, including letters, reports, product documentation, and marketing materials corrected for grammar, punctuation, style, syntax and wording. Business document editing costs a little more because every document is unique, so the process of editing is slower.
3 cents per word; minimum $10; 12 or 24-hour return.
Basic Proofreading For people who only need an expert to review personal, academic, and business documents for grammar, punctuation, spelling, syntax, and wording. The difference between proofreading and editing refers to how much work your document needs. Proofreading means fixing typos, comma errors, or the occasional misused word. Editing means you need your sentences revised to make sense.
2 cents per word; minimum $20; 24-hour return.
PowerPoint Editing. The amount of time needed to edit PowerPoint slides can vary greatly, so our pricing is by the hour. The minimum is $25, which includes 1/2 hour of work. Additional time is billed at $50 per hour. We edit slides and attached notes, so your presentations can be absolutely perfect. We provide a list of all edits, so you can review our work. International Thesis Proofreading
While Canadian English is officially the same as British English, in fact, we use elements of both systems in Canada. For example, our punctuation is consistently American (period goes inside quotation marks), but our spelling is a bit of both (-ize, not -ise; -our, not -or). Many of our university professors are American-educated, and their influence is deep within our post-secondary system. For example, my Bachelor of Arts degree is “Honors,” not “Honours,” but psychologists call themselves “counsellors,” not “counselors” as in the U.S. (However, the BC Psychological Association uses both spellings on its website!) Proofreading and editing Canadian essays requires that special touch that only iProof.ca can offer. Don’t trust your important document to a large American editing mill; have a Canadian-educated, Canadian-based editor proofread it in Canada.
You can also request U.S. or U.K. English usage if required. We edit documents for American and international clients, as well as for Canadians applying to U.S. post-secondary institutions.
